Complete rewires, planned properly and finished without a trace

Full & Partial House Rewires

Fuse box full of old rewireable fuses? Wiring in rubber or fabric? Your home is probably overdue a rewire. It's the biggest electrical job a house ever needs, so it deserves proper planning. We go room by room with you before a single cable is lifted, agreeing where every socket, switch and light should go.

Floors protected, walls chased cleanly, everything made good afterwards. The whole installation is tested, certified and signed off. You get a clear day-by-day schedule up front, so you always know what's happening and when.

Rewires questions, answered

How much does a full rewire cost?

Every house is different, so we price each rewire individually after seeing the property. You get one fixed price in writing before any work starts, so nothing grows on the invoice.

How long does a full rewire take?

One to two weeks for a typical three-bedroom home, depending on size and whether you're living in it. You get a clear day-by-day schedule before we start, so you can plan around it.

Can we live in the house during a rewire?

Usually yes. We work room by room and keep the power on overnight wherever possible. For bigger jobs it's sometimes quicker and cheaper with the house empty, and we'll tell you honestly which applies.

How do I know if my home needs rewiring?

Common signs: a fuse box with rewireable fuses, fabric or rubber-coated cables, warm or loose sockets, too few sockets per room. An electrical safety check (EICR) will tell you for certain, and we'll never recommend a rewire you don't need.
